Just saw the latest poll on CNN.
78% of Americans want Force to take out Saddam.
up 5% from a few ago.
Kind of weird how the media makes it seem like the all of us want no war, yet straight up polls from CNN, a news place known to sway Liberal, shows that Americans support our actions.
Just thought that was interesting.

This makes me mad. Those 78% of the population probably has no idea what devastation it will bring to the citizens of Iraq, and the innocent lives that will be lost if the war proceeds.
If the war is being faught on US soil will they still be so gung ho about the whole damn war!

Personally I am one of the 78%... but I do feel the same about the people in Iraq getting hurt.... I think they are pretty much under a bad Thumb and he needs to get ousted.... but I to dont want the people who want out from him to get hurt.

it's strange with these "78%". Lukashenko, the only dictator left in in Eastern Europe, in Belarus, my motherland, won the last elections held on 9.9.01 with 75% votes "pro". His ass was saved, because just in 2 days America blew off. But hey, those 75% were the same 78% one sees on CNN today. How familiar....

I'm in that 75% and ya know what I'm proud, because I know deep down inside I'm backing up something that will save more lives than it hurt. You lefties need to analyze it more. Sadam killed 5000 of his own citizens no more than 14 years ago, he's got 1800 gallons of pure Anthrax hidden somewhere in IRAQ, and he's been snivvely about everything he does. No this isn't me buying into the media its me comparing facts I've read coming from all sides... Sadams a nut who needs to be thrown from office, he's beeen sitting in his shitass throan for too long and the people there aren't happy... French and the rest of the yuppy countries are so passive that its all shit, passive people never go anywhere in life, they just sit there and give it and take it on a 50/50 scale, no win no lose just stagnation. Americas about growth in all directions. Blah. I'm definitely in that 75%. Keep it up though.... part of being an American is that I still value you radical opinion ;]

Well they were kurds, who really are a nation of their own. So you can't call them Sadam's own people. They should have been given their own state when the boundaries were drawn by westerners back in the days. This of course doesn't make gassing the rebeling kurds any more acceptiple, but the rhetoric makes Sadam sound way more sinister. Now US is buttbuddies with Turkey, who is also known for human rights violations against the kurds.
