Print, HOW, StepBYStep... those are nice and broad ..... i'm not a big fan of WALLPAPER* personally its too fashion/trendwhore oriented... HOW and print are practical, real world. I'd also reccomend staying devoid of CMYK its a shitty mag shoved down the throats of students 2 pages of content 80 pages of ads.

A friend of mine told me that rinzen are art directors for a new magazine called - prat,
am gonna try and find a link now...

no link, but old mate said it was quite cool, I would recommend not looking for graphic design magazines... i find they get real self indulgent, theres so much shit out there just look at that and analyse it... the closest I get to design mags is juxtapoz, because its not a design mag so it makes me think in all sorts of non-design directions, which i think is much better than that IDN nonsense where ppl just pat each other on the back... i'd like to see a design magazine that is a little more critical than the ones I'm exposed to... and as for emigre... well... i got a subscription and now i hate it, its just lame, theres maybe one good page in like three issues.. ah well. easy come easy go. I recommend going for a walk in a commercial environment, heaps of graphic design there... "insert anymore ranting here if necessary"

Yeah ....
Well I'm fairly new to this game so I want to learn and know the names of the big shots out there and what makes them good. I also want to see there certain trends are going or for some extra inspiration. I want to learn about different printing presses and different methods of printing and that sort of stuff.
