The only problem I have with this "ad", is that they are obviously not using a condom! Even when you make a spoof you should take a responsability imo.

I don't think Puma creates ads, but I can imagine Puma gave permission to a jr. creative team to use it as viral marketing.

I don;t think they would have sent out the letters if they did - or maybe...maybe....the tone wasn;t right - it sounds like they are pretty pissed off which I find a littel silly because it's excellent marketing..

If you are a rock band it's good marketing, but Puma isn't. A brand is very fragile. If it blows in their face (lawsuits, parent organisations etc.) they are screwed.

petzi - I totally agree - I'm sick to death of marketers using sex to sell products - my biggest hate is FCUK (french connection) I get so mad when I see their shit....but this was pretty funny I guess...maybe because it's a spoof (or not) - or maybe because it's a lot more direct and in your face.....
