imageready... hmmm....
can you make a batch action that saves what you are looking at as a jpeg (or whatever) and then moves forward one frame?
ive never done anything quite like what you are asking, but i think that it should be doable in imageready. i could also be wrong easily (though that has only happened once inthe past 15 years heh)
have you alraedy tried the batch actions? cuz im thinkin that outta work.

bio - I don't know how to do the batch file thing. My purpose is not to save each file seperatly but to have the program save all my new docs in photoshop ( that aren't saved) so that i don't have to save each one seperatly.
Thanks

i think that maybe i am just not understanding you.
you have a gif file that has lots of frames right?
and you want to make each frame into its own file? but you dont want to go thru frame by frame and save each one?
is that right or am i missing the point?

"My purpose is not to save each file seperatly but to have the program save all my new docs in photoshop"
it really isn't clear what you want to do...do you want to work further in Photoshop, or what?

OK here is situation.
1. I have a gif animated file and i want to rip the frames and make them separete files.
or
2. I make the seperate frames in Photoshop and I want to save them, but i don't want to save each file one at a time.
Thanks, I hope this makes it a little more clear.

god damn modem...
- JazX0
yeah again GIF MOVIE GEAR it does JUST that
- JazX0
what's the deal then?
- ribit0
hmmm.. I can't see how to do this in Image Ready (it does import a folder as frames though)..
what's the purpose of exporting the frames seperately?
- Blueman0
it's so that i can use the images in 3ds max... it sees the sequance and puts the images together. but it doesn't see an animated gif file. It only sees one frame
