Tell me your preferences, advanteges and so on1 We are having a big discussion about how to bild a logistic plataform for industrie based on html masks and interface. The old version uses frames, we want to change to iframes! What do you think?

if any of the users are on netscape 4.7 they won't be able to use it... but you could always redirect them to an upgrade to take care of that

i envy you, i work for a place that does alot of science based stuff, so the websites are geared around that, it amazes me the number of scientists/scholars that haven't updated their browser since they got their computer... almost ALL of them use nutscrape 4.7... it's annoying when I'm trying to develop a site, for sure

when you have the option to go for an iframe version, you should definitely do this. the only reason why they aren't being used so widely is ns4.7 and if you don't have any users using that old #¤@&%¤# browser, just go for it. however i urge you to test it out on ns 6 or 7 and some newer mozilla (1.3) as well because it's always nice to have an alternative. it seems that the new mozilla supports some of the wysiwyg options that only ie did some time ago, so hardcore coding can finally be done for many platforms/browsers.
