senior designer = art director+ in frog, so you need to have many years of experience both in designing and managing projects.
Show something that is really unique about yourself which would benefit the company - eg. did you write a book? speak at a conference? Do you do any great work besides work? Do you draw/paint?
Also, don't ONLY show website designs in your portfolio.
In terms of contacts, i don't want to be the one who create massive junk mails for the CD, so maybe send it via postal mail to the sf office?

I interviewed for frog once, with Lowell Goss. That was the highlight of my career. Needless to say I didn't get the job... Well, actually I think the position got eliminated. They were going to open an office in L.A. and that's what I interviewed for. But as far as I know, they never did (well, I haven't really tried to find out.)
It would've been nice to work there...
