does anyone know percentage/stats of flash players among internet users in latin america?-or where to find such information.

I'm sure macromedia probably has that info. Or the macromedia latin america site. I don't know for sure but I would check there.
My guess is that it may be a little bit lower than the world average, but you'll probably have a lot more people that still have flash 4 or 5
