Hi,
Might be an obvious question.
What resolution does one need to work at with good quality printing on a t-shirt. And do the images need to be CMYK, or can you also go for RGB? This will be a proffesional run of a new t-shirt brand.IS there anything else I should keep in mind?
What if you need white in the image and it's on a black t-shirt?THANK YOU!

go 300 dpi in RGB for screenprint, go in CMYK if it is for transfers.
the inks for screenprinting will be mixed when the shirts are printed, so colors matter not, you can even use grayscale.

Another question, are there restricctions with screenprinting? Like would they be able to do photographic quality work? What line resolution is required?Thanks again,

you would have to ask the printer. line screens change with mesh count. and this all hinges on what colors are being printed on what color substrate. Ask the printer, he will know all of this information.
