can someone explain why colors look different on a mac and pc?
is it just the monitors that i'm looking at or is it the video cards? the newstoday bkgrd for example looks grey on my PC, but it looks lighter and like it has a touch of red in the gray on my friend's Powerbook.
does this make any sense?

one of them needs some color calibration, if not both.

geezz...both those monitors are wrecked__
I mean, everyone sees NT with it's famous purple background and yellow edges...not to mention the beige headers on the olive boxes__
