aside from them standing on their soap box blah blah blah...
i really hope this isnt a forecast as to what the new album will sound like cause this is terrible. the beat is pretty good thanks to mix master, but the lyrics are awful and they sound terrible... DAMNIT! and im such a big BB fan!

I agree with The Right Honorable Trans Fatty. In the grand scheme of all things Beastie that song sucks.

mike d needs oxygen - sounds kinda tired.

love the message.
think the song isn't exactly up to their usual excellent trend setting standards...
definitely love the message tho..

That track sounded like the rap from Revenge of the Nerds. I think I heard Poindexter in the background.

"to pull out of Iraq ... at this late date ... would do more harm than good in a region so unstable."
Reanalyze that TF.
Wrong thread... so... nice song!

It's called "in a world gone mad" i think. Sounds silly enough to be a plausible publicity stunt.

I like the instrumental but the lyrics doh!
ie; "You and Saddam should kick it like back in the day
With the cocaine and Courvoisier"and the rest: eek!
In a world gone mad it’s hard to think right
So much violence hate and spite
Murder going on all day and night
Due time we fight the non-violent fightMirrors, smokescreens and lies
It’s not the politicians but their actions I despise
You and Saddam should kick it like back in the day
With the cocaine and Courvoisier
But you build more bombs as you get more bold
As your mid-life crisis war unfolds
All you want to do is take control
Now put that axis of evil bullshit on hold
Citizen rule number 2080
Politicians are shady
So people watch your back 'cause I think they smoke crack
I don’t doubt it look at how they actIn a world gone mad it’s hard to think right
So much violence hate and spite
Murder going on all day and night
Due time we fight the non-violent fightFirst the ‘War On Terror’ now war on Iraq
We’re reaching a point where we can’t turn back
Let’s lose the guns and let’s lose the bombs
And stop the corporate contributions that their built upon
Well I’ll be sleeping on your speeches ‘til I start to snore
‘Cause I won’t carry guns for an oil war
As-Salamu alaikum, wa alaikum assalam
Peace to the Middle East peace to Islam
Now don’t get us wrong ‘cause we love America
But that’s no reason to get hysterica
They’re layin’ on the syrup thick
We ain’t waffles we ain’t havin’ itIn a world gone mad it’s hard to think right
So much violence hate and spite
Murder going on all day and night
Due time we fight the non-violent fightNow how many people must get killed?
For oil families pockets to get filled?
How many oil families get killed?
Not a damn one so what’s the deal? It’s time to lead the way and de-escalate
Lose the weapons of mass destruction and the hate
Say ooh ah what’s the White House doin’?
Oh no! Say, what in tarnation have they got brewing??!!!!???!!
Well I’m not pro Bush and I’m not pro Saddam
We need these fools to remain calm
George Bush you’re looking like Zoolander
Trying to play tough for the camera
What am I on crazy pills? We’ve got to stop it
Get your hand out my grandma’s pocket
We need health care more than going to war
You think it’s democracy they’re fighting for?In a world gone mad it’s hard to think right
So much violence hate and spite
Murder going on all day and night
Due time we fight the non-violent fight

man, that song sucks.
next album they will be rappin bout false teeth and prostate treatments. Whoever called them trendsetters is going to be dissappointed. I used to be a big BBoys fan, but that shit is tired. They stole most of the rhyme styles from run dmc and spoonie g. and as far as the instrumental jams go, did you ever see a college jazz band, they jam harder than those guys do. Just my two cents.
- rd110
I'd rather hear Michael Jackson sing "We are the World" than this crap.
- mrdobolina0
war is no reason to release a wack jam.

i javen't heard it, but i can imagine something that isn't meant to stand the test of time or anything. i think it's just that if you have a strong view and have a strong indication that a lot of people will download or buy your track, then it becomes easier to simply spread your "views" like data....

that song was horendous...
but was funny when comparing to Revenge of the Nerds ;o)
"clap your hands, everybody
and everybody clap your hands!
we're Lambda Lambda Lambda and...Omegu Mu and we've come here on stage tonight to do a show for you!
We've got a rockin' rhythm and a hi-tech sound that'll make you move your body down to the ground!
We got Poindexter on the violin,
and Louis and Gilbert will be joinin' inWe got Booger Presley on the lead guitar and a rap by lil' ol' me, Lamar!
We got Takeshi beating on his gong
The boys and the Mus are clappin' along
And just when you thought you've seen it all
Along comes a Lambda 4 foot tall
So get out here, Wormser, on the floor and let's move our bodies like never before!
