CF MX NULL Error

An issue has come up recently as we finally completed an upgrage of our web server to ColdFusion MX and added Paperthin's Commonspot (CMS). The new site recently launched and immediately we experienced problems. Two in particular occur repeatedly.
1: At random times some, not all, users get the CF error "Error Occured While Processing Request" NULL
There is no specific error reference and no template that caused it.
2: Pages load blank. If you view source these pages are the most bare No content whatsoever.

This brings up a few issues, such as Macromedia's ability or interest in resolving this problem and quality of support in general. I'm hoping someone here can shed some light on this. I am intentionally not providing a lot of details on the matter as the above thread reveals far better detail than I could provide.
