Depends man, do you work for yourself (freelance?) then you should name yourself something like 'universal designer' 'creative idependent' And when you have like myself a own studio and employees name yourself something like 'Creative Director / Owner'
Best of luck,

cripes, this is so.. search PV, so much of this shit..
and it should be 'designer'
don't pidgeon hole yourself into one medium, unless you WANT to be..

I agree.. plain old designer does it for me. The title "creative" seems really repulsive to me.. it sounds kind of arrogant or something.
"Hey I'm (a) creative!"
Seems like a really corporate language. Usally, I've found that people who use that term, aren't very, um.. creative.

my 2 cents.
don't called yourself as a multi-media designer, it's so "dot-com", everyone is multi-media nowadays.....

its a first good impression for 'creative something' titles. usually the unexperienced ppl will have that sort of impression. but come to think of it why only creative. we can name ourselves 'initiative director' or 'imaginative designer'.
i feel titles have been overdone sometimes. what would work is to have a universal title so majority will understand. yet if you believe alot in all the various things you do then might as well create a new one yourself.

You know what pisses me off,
People who call themselves motion designers/motion graphic artist, who basically just 'tween' some shit in flash or finish the aftereffects classroom in a book project.
That *really* pisses me off.
