Could anyone with a spare minute or two check a site I'm working on for any errors? It's not quite finished, but very close, and I'm about to show it to my client.
All sections are available for viewing except for the 'Environment » Interiors' section.
I haven't yet decided exactly what I want the main page to be (the section that's loaded initially) but all of the sub-sections are there.
Thanks for your help. Here ya go:

honestly, i love it, i am a little drunk though mind, but its so simple, i have not used my brain at all, i've viewed all of your images with the snap of my fingers, and the interface is sweet, good work !

looks good, i like it alot. only problem i found was that same dude in the specs popping up whenever i clicked on an image. nice work though.
i might reconsider is those arrows on the right though... i found them a tad distracting, and im not sure they really add anything. i might be worng though... that sounded like good client type advice to me as i typed it though.

Thanks a million, chinaman.
Yeah, I didn't want to build and upload the preview pages for every photo, just in case she didn't like the way they looked.

The arrows on the right are actually part of the polaroid that's being used as the container for the site. I considered removing them to lessen confusion, but I wanted to keep the image of the polaroid true to real life.

i figured that was the situation... i was reaching for something to complain about, and thats all i could come up with.

looks nice
i like the arrows
my only comment would be to invert the Background image around the whole thing and see what it looks like Black with white speckles instead of white with black.. worth a try

That's a cool idea, qburt, but she wants a light background.

re: the loading animation, specifically the loading being written out... i dunno. in general I kinda get annoyed at long loading animations cos folks on broadband would see only the first few frames of it. kinda kills the tension/climax... you never see the anim finished.
but i'm venting. pay no attention to me, i'm a hack. nice site otherwise.

Really good point, kpl. Thanks. She's on broadband (I can't yet get it - i'm literally a few houses away from the cutoff point) so maybe she'll feel the same way.
She looked at the site on my computer today and loved that animation, but she may feel very different when she sees it on her comp.

show here the inverted background and see what she says... you never know,
remember, when a client says they know what they want, that means they have no clue.

The site originally had a dark background. A sort of 'damaged' dark grey. We both agreed it looked nicer with a white background.

good stuff - WIN2k, IE6, NN6, mozilla, opera
the only thing is - on 800x600 you have a LOT of horizontal scroll, which is a pity....

Yeah. She actually wanted the site larger and I talked her into this. She even brought a friend with her to our last meeting and he even said it should be smaller, but she says that her target audience is 'designer types' and that they usually have larger resolutions.
The size of the site doesn't really bother me anymore, though. We looked at a lot of photographers sites together before starting work and I'd say a good majority of them were as large.
