your critique please?I'm a oil painter who learned to program, which doesn't make me a designer..
There's something wrong with the way the text is laid out, but I'm not sure what.
And tell me what you think of the portfolio (I also need to make sure there are no problems with the script I wrote)

There are some problems on the porfolio script. I'll shoot you an email with screenshots.

And the text on the site looks okay. Try using some margins on the page to keep the text from butting up to the edge of the iframe.
I'll send screenshots of that too.

can you look at the portfolio and tell me what you think of my solution?The problem, breifly, was that I was using window.resizeTo() which doesn't work on IE 5.whatever for a mac.

the splash page is nice, but the site itself lacks creativity. The illustrations are really good.
Something is wrong with the pop ups, I have to refresh to see the images.

really? crap. what platform and browser you have? what do you see before you refresh?

it's not crap, it just needs some work that's all. The illys are great, I think you should built the site around them, not hide them from us.
I'm on a mac os 9 IE 5.2
When I click the images, I get the pop up , but the screen flashes and then I get a white screen.not sure if these links will help

can you check the portfolio again if you have a sec, I made a change that may fix the problem you described...
