I think something is wrong with my monitor, Some grey colors are starting to look pinkish. for instance, when Im in PS I select white & then go to the color pallete and adjust the greyscale slider to almost white and it looks pink. Do i need to calibrate my monitor? Im on PC Dell Trinitron.
Parts of NT look kinda pinkish.

recalibrate your monitor..
gamma correction in you settings
i have had few problems with Dell monitors (even though they are Sony or Panasonic).
just call Dell and ask them to send you another one.
Dell had good service so far for me..

It's not only NT it's other sites that I know are not PINK, Im looking into calibarating, but Im also calling Dell to see about getting a new monitor.

try calibrating, this happens as monitors wear out though. My "DVD player" in the living room is actually a computer with a remote control video card and a normal remote so i can play videos off the harddrive, anyway - obviously this needs a monitor for rebooting, well if you open the cupboard in teh stand you find a monitor which is almost completely unreadable because it is so pink. *shrug* its a 14" monitor ive had for like 8years... it happens when they get old.

I've noticed this too over the years - especially with gif/jpg export in PShop. I'd always just assumed it was something to do with too much compression, as bumping-up the rate seemed to get rid of it.
That said, I've not noticed the problem on this (new, shiny) monitor.. hmm.

how new it is isnt the point. I have also experienced it - mac monitor.
Calibration is probably the reason. Your monitor software should be reinstalled, and your monitor setup should be looked at again. This should fix the problem.

the easiest solution...
become a little colourblind, as i am...
it won't even be an issue then...
