hey, what the hell, is it just me or is the French government really getting in over their heads?
first, they oppose the US in their reasons for going to war, which i can to a degree reason with, but look at this:
"Former chief prosecutor in the French anti-terrorist courts, Ms Irene Stoller, told the BBC's File on 4 radio programme that for too long the authorities in London refused to act because they did not feel directly threatened.
"It was a case of 'It's happening to my neighbour, not to me, so it's not my problem,'" she said. "
now they're blaming the west for not helping them against terrorists? what a bunch of hypocrites! am i seeing this the wrong way or is the french government totally self-centered?

Laugh it off, it's just under table political deals and gestures, just like turkey, or even the US.

you ARE seeing it the wrong way apparently...
so in a similar comparison, do you take the words of a US district court judge to be the official government position of the entire United states?

you got that right bucko. it's all about money. period.
Cudos to France Russia and company for throwing a wrench in the plans.
Those countries had oil deals lined up with Iraq and the US was like "fuck that" we are going to remain dominant on that Iraqi ass. Iraq's oil fields are going to be under US control biatches.
So now France is like OK well we'll just veto that ass until we get a cutty cut!

I'm really happy to know that there's at least one country having the guts to say "no" to Georges Bush.
I'm Canadian and like a lot of people outside USA, I'm starting to get upset while seeing Georges Bush acting like he would be able to know the best for people he don't even speak with.

Don't EVER be fooled. It matters NOT who leads the USA government. All the mechanisms are in place for our government to be controlled by the richest of the upperclass. A president is a figurehead. The same shit goes on in the background no matter... Has been like this for at least 3/4 century for all that most can tell.

and it's not really the US government BTW. It's the people and entities that control the US government. money directs our government... our government has not been controlled by the people since... well, since ever. when in the history of the US did everybody have the equal oportunity to vote?
