After Effects HELP

I'm looking for someone to give me some help with after effects - maybe through msn messenger or yahoo or AIM - if anyone has the free time and wouldnt mind helpin me i'd appreciate it
i've got a project due tomorrow and i've run into a few problems in the past few weeks

i suck at it and need help - no, not a big problem but it'd be nice to have a bit of help and not ignorant repsonses like yours - i need 30 seconds of video and that's it - so thx for absolutely nothing

im looking to make a background in photoshop - slowly move the background, panning and effects, and maybe do some vector shapes on top of it

ok, ok, don't get your panties in a bunch.
First you know what resolution your're going to work in, i'm assuming 720x540.
Second, in photohop make a background that is long enough so that you can pan it in AE(for example, 720x1080, assuming you're just going to pan sideways)
Following me so far?
Third, drop that file into AE and make a new comp 720x540 and drop the PSD bkgd in, placing the side that you want the pan to start from(left edge if going from left to right, right edge if going right to left) Key the position at start and then go to the frame you want the pan to end and move the PSD in the desired position and it will put in another key. Play the animation and you have your pan.Hope this helps...
