i'm thinking about getting a handheld... i just need something with USB, and an MP3 player on it. I'm thinking about using it as a secondary mp3 jukebox for my truck. Hook my external hard drive to the PDA and use a tape adapter.
I've had the laptop hooked up but it sucks if i have someone else in the front seat. but i'm pretty broke right now, i'm willing to spend 200 and below but everything i've seen is like 300+. any tips?

if i spend that much money i might as well get a pda, get more functionality out of it.

the pocket pc devices are the best pdas out now, unless you have a mac-- then a sony clie is the way to go.
if you do go pocket pc, the hp 1910 is super-sweet. plays macromedia flash as well.
