I'm running Jaguar and every so often when I use quicktime within IE my whole machine crashes and the audio of the movie gets stuck and keeps skipping on the same spot... Anyone else experience this?

the best one is "there has been an error because of an error"

Love my OSX. Took some time to get used to it and had to addon some stuff to make it comfortable, but now I am in hog heaven.

zap the vram next startup.
hold down the apple (might be shift?), control, p and r buttons until you hear the 'bong' the second time. see if that helps.
mine just shit the bed two weeks ago in X and that's what i had to do.

it does on a mac too, and, if you get annoyed by it, you can turn it off... not really sure why you would, but you can...
-- it really does get a lot better with X... at least with the more current versions.

you get that one on windows too, at least with win2k, then it goes through a disk check

im switching to osX pretty soon but im not very excited about it. my co worker did already and he has a bunch of problems with it. im on 9... but theres a new application i need to use that is osx only.
after i restart, i love the "your computer has been shut down incorrectly" notice.
