Anyway, I´d go wich the second one.
Do I get a free crépes now?!

i like the 1st logo...but for some reason i just don't think it's quite right...can't really make out the letters y'know?
so i'll have to go with logo2 ...
it's very classy, and should work great for a crepes restaraunt...nice, nice work man...
really elegant...

Wow... I like both of those quite a lot. Hmmm... tough call. I'd say the first one makes more of an impression. Either one is a winner though.
- CBSTHLM0
exador: Thats exactly my problem...
I too like the first one but I know it´s hard to read.
I guess they will buy the second one. hmmm...Thanks for your comment!

no sweat man...

Second one.

Come on "really great"??! That´s gotta be as in "the cosumers gonna buy", right.
I, personaly, think you´re solution is boring and mainstream, but if this is as far as you could move the costumer towards good design; congrat´s

JagdPanther: My solution?
So far I´ve only done two scetches on the typo for a logo. How it´s gonna be used in the resturant is something I havent even started on. BUT if it´s the typo tou find boring and mainstream it´s ok. I want all opinions...

yeah, I see it as a designer function to show the customer just how far he´s willing to go; without he knows his limit from the start. make some relly crazy stuff and acsidentily drop it out of your filecase next time you see him. Gotta hop now; good luck.
- CBSTHLM0
Well... The thing is:
I dont really wanna do "relly crazy stuff" with this client.
The logo should be classic but yet with som twist...

Both are great logo's. I can't help but feel that you've gone with a 'safe option' though. If the client isn't giving you too much freedom on the brief then i'm sure that what you've done is fine, ie. it serves it's purpose very well. I would be inclined to try other type styles - perhaps move away from the sterotypical french fodder style.

I think I will try to convince them to go with no 1.Now.. Drinks!
