does everyone agree that clip art does not belong in the content? my clients along with my boss constantly ask me to mutilate my designs by throwing obscure clip art into the sites text. it makes it look like a geocities home page.

clipart is custom made, but i still think any type of imagery shouldnt break up the text.

handled the right way, it could look ok...
that is..if you take the clip are into photoshop and tweak the crap out of it..
;)apple's site often throws little images and aquaish images into the text..
do likewise..just so long as you do a nice bit of tweaking, it can look ok...
i agree in principle, that it isnt that cool to drop shit into your content/text...but if thats what they want...then atleast do it in a way that makes it look ok..
