Why has this trend consumed my fellow designers? (not all but lots) Is it because most listen to rock and love the 80's? Or is it because they are trendwhores?
I just never understood why people want to look like the clash so bad. I have to ask. Why?
Oh... and is longwave really that great? And why do these bands that are just coming out also look like the clash. It seems that they are trying to relive the whole "cigs, beer and bars" life style.
that and why do all the kids want to look like 50 cent? It just doesn't make sense to me. What happened to people being who they really are and not what is "cool" or "uncool". The "geek" look wasn't cool in the 80's. Was it?

my head is shaved.
i wear uncolored contacts.
i like jeans and steel toed boots.
i have a goatee and a chin strap beard.
i wear long sleeve undershirts with long sleeve button up overshirts.
my ears are pierced in a few spots.i look ilke a weird conglomeration/clusterfuck of construction worker meets english butler meets skinhead.
i refuse to put on black rimmed glasses FYI.

last summer i cut my hair like a boy. boy hair cuts are where its at. i have an afro no by default. its what happends post shower.
i dont think anyone has long hair anymore... do they? cept maybe hippies.
