i miss those old sneakers and that old sweater...
he's been a part of millions of childrens lives (including my own many years ago).
he is a legend, and there will never be another like him...

i seriously think it is sad. its hard to get broken up about it... but i can hear the train ringing... and the little train moving theme music... and think about Mr. Rogers hanging up his sweater... he did rock profusely.
i watched him like mad as a kid and was freaky to be at home sick from work and still be able to tune into his shows... that he was still churning out.
and the King still had issues... and the Owl was up to something... and Mr. Rogers was always so chill and not all that scary.
he will be missed indeed.
i loved all the props.
and how the shows set was layed out.
and the miniature neighborhood.and now i recall Eddie Murphy's skit on Saturday Night Live.
snif. snif... gotta go.

It is certainly sad. i havent thought about him for years but hearing about him now makes me think back to when i was a wee lad watching the show.
he had a profound effect on millions of people and it is a sad day for sure.

as a kid, you either loved him or hated him. my grandmother loved him. i used to love him. i think that kids that loved him were greatly impacted by his show. now a huge part of our childhood is literally dead. this is a sad day.
