Anyone know of how to simple make a link in a html formatted piece of text in Flash actually perform an action rather than simple perform and action ousdie (i.e. link to an html page) ??????????
- londonBoy0
If the action is to move to another point in the timeline:
..and you are using MX, you can used "named targets" on the frame property inspector and then call them like as you would a target in html.

you can call a function by using asfunction command.

Well... i did a search and found my own thread... anyway... what I need to do is...
In HTML in flash how to you perform the no break space as you do in normal HTML... i.e the nbsp; command
I have peoples names that I don't want flowing onto two lines.
is there a URL encode that simulates this? or is flash html too low level for this... and I'm going to have to line break manually?

what is this now1 off you is called engage and 1 of you is called engagestudio when some one that is called studio posts up, i think you should all stop. all stop. or at the verry least meet up and have a seminar to agree what it is you want to say .or?

one and the same... Engage was before I got booted first time around...
get on with your work you loon :)
- wendell0
yes i have heard it, but why if engage was as you have said it. booted. is it not confusing all different names, so so many names, i then can not no when people a re talking good or bad or?
i also take affence to those going on 'get to to work', you are not the desk police and i am not a loon i have been to nice. so put in deep in you!

get a grip wendell.
as far as html in flash its really basic so I'm not sure if thats possible, I'd just whack in break tags to avoid names being split.
