dual input monitors

does anyone use a monitor with dual inputs? So you can plug in two computers and use an a/b switch on the monitor to toggle between the two? I'm looking to buy one and am up for suggestions. Thanks!

so you want a kv switch not a dual monitor card right? A kv switch will allow you to use one keyboard and monitor for multiple computers but a dual monitor will allow you to use multiple monitors for one computer. Please clarify and maybe I can help.

One keyboard and monitor for mulitiple computers. A guy I know has a mitsubishi with a switch built in so when he hits a button on the front of his monitor it switches between two computers. His model is discontinued so I'm looking for something new. Thanks

we have 2 different kinds of kv-switches at work. Tommorrow I'll see what brands they are and post them for you. The one sux but we have a new one that is pretty nice. the monitor rests on it and you can connect up to four pcs to it.

I have a 20" iiyama CRT with dual inputs. It's a great monitor. You'd probably be best off with a KVM switch though. Then you won't have to have multiple keyboards floating around.
