- ribit0

- jevad0
'potential' bwahahah
I have used every damn trick in the book to get these guys to let me do a new identity for them...to no avail....
- paulrand0
on the back, as small as possible
- ribit0
the trick is you don't ask to do a 'new identity', you only insist on 'interpretation to suit the new usage'... or something like that...
- paulrand0
change it a little at a time-- they won't even notice

here's a simple solution:
make the title uppercase and scale the semi-circle to the height of the text. desaturate all of it to greyscale and that should make it more appealing.

Create an empty movieclip in Flash. Put it there. Drop it on the main Scene. Name it 'logo'. Create an 'actions' layer. In it write the following actionscript:
logo._visible = false
The logo will look just right.

Well, you think you have pain in the ass clients. Check this out:
I got a call from a software company to redesign their web site completely and create a sophisticated presentation of their company. They insisted that it needs to be ground breaking since their clients (a couple of larger clients) need to be impressed when they visit the site. So we started. I created nice rough drafts with couple of ideas of content transistion and so on. To cut the story short, after a week of developing the new appearance they said that they've decided to use a different approach. In otherwords they didn't won't to work with me because they said that I didn't understand what they were trying to achive.Look what they came up with:
http://www.seeksci.com/seeksci.h…I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it for the first time.
Hope this makes you feel better. :)

Argh, Boz! That has to be the worst 2A rip I've *ever* seen. Even more tragic is the fact that they've obviously tried so hard to make it look 'cool'. I almost feel sorry for them. Almost, mind.

in response to boz's link:
mwahahahahaaahahahaha, buwhahahahaha [vomits from laughter], moo hoo hahahahahahahahaha [further uncontrollable vomiting]
and so forth.

I used to work for http://logoworks.com . Some of the client briefs was amazingly stupid, and once or twice I was even specifically instructed to include something Comic Sans-ish in the logo. "Make it look FUN!"
- jevad0
guess I don't have it so bad after all!
