Turn the background photos into black and white with high contrast.
It will be more stong.
Now it's only so so.

yeah I agree it needs a starker feel to it :)
Maybe some noise as well (dust + scratches +1)

i was thinking the same as these other... its NICE but very very original... I like the looks but it leaves me wanting more because its sooo plain ...
this is a hard one to call ;;; look is good.. but man.. its bland... i would suggest either playing off a crazzzzzy ass photo.. or using shapes in the photograph to activate the negative space etc
