What is the point of me doing quality creative and then hand it off to an account service manager who is not going to sell it properly or with any heart. At which point the client becomes a runaway train of requests, changes and bastard creative decisions.
ARGHGHGH!!!
Sorry. Just had to vent. Good creative turned to bad creative in a hurry on this job I am working on and now it is a he said, she said war of words between departments.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with a third party presenting your creative when you can't be in the room.
Stepping of my box now,

I know what you mean. I found out after a while that in my case the "clients comments" were not actually the client's. It was a frustrated account manager's opinion who felt he was more of an art director / creative director.
It's not without reason that most startups try to do it without an account team. Unfortunately you do need them, because most creatives would work for food coupons if the job is cool. lol!
They should ask account managers if they think they are creative before they apply for the job. If they do, send them we'll keep you on file note. :P Ehehehe.
There's nothing you can do about it I'm affraid. Just hope for a better job in the future ;)

You win some, you lose some.
One project i'm on, the client is asking for style gudes and art direction for their design team...this just off a site redesign, good for us!
The other project i'm working on, the client hates it (the creative). Really f®©king hates it. Design by mass debate an' all that.
We're hoping they pull the trigger on that one...waste of time and money...
...live by the sword, die by the sword. An' all that jazz.

unfortunately, as i found out later, alot of our Account personel graduated from "yes we can do that" university.
frustration is common in these situations due to lack of control.
roll with the punches i guess.
