iframe - dynamic height/width

  Using the DOCTYPE for HTML 4.01 Transitional, is it possible to use an iframe as a container and have it's height/width depend upon the contents? Or is it possible to set the height and width to 100% of the viewport? Thanks!

  I want to be able to contain many other things inside of this iframe. Like different layouts. One layout may be two iframes, one may be three, another may be four. One may have none, etc.
