ALWAYS
nine.Thank you.
- J0
Um, ok... 23...
23
2 + 3 = 5
23 - 5 = 9...????
Um, nope.

the answer is usually a multiple of 9, that's what salty meant to say. There are some exceptions, but if you will notice that multiples of 9 and those exceptions will always be the same symbol.
- lvl_thirteen0
right 9. the pattern is randomly generated but the symbol is repeated every 9 numbers.
and no, i was actually not kidding. it just took me a second to figure it out
- lvl_thirteen0
^ yeah i meant multiples of 9. not every 9 numbers

Note that the symbol sets are not the same after you click try again... There's your trick
- kpl0
think of it this way:
12 -> 1+2 = 3
13 -> 1+3 = 4
14 -> 1+4 = 5every time you add one to one side, you also add one to the other, and get the same difference.
19 -> 1+9 = 10
20 -> 2+0 = 229 -> 2+9 = 11
30 -> 3+0 = 3when the tens column increases, it's like you add one to both sides still, but subtract 9 on the right side. in the end, it's still a multiple of 9.
