How? There's like a million of things you can do with a line, but can't find plain dotted style.
Help me, I'll make you a rich man.

it's a cheat but it works. create a rectangle and apply the "line diag 1" texture to it in the properties drop down. set the drop down to the right of the texture drop down to 100 and check the transparent box. then just set the width or height to 1 pixel and you should have a pretty convincing dotted line. hope this helps.

>draw your line
> go down to your properties palette and go to your drop down menu next to stroke size.
> select unnatural
> select 3D
> go back to that same drop down menu and select stroke options
> click the advanced... button
> adjust the spacing to 300% or greater and you may want to change the size of your stroke to 1 or 2
voila!

dotted line.

Thanks a lot guys, the 'ridiculous' solution helps somewhat; niceguy, couldn't make it work your way thinner than 72 px..
Couldn't they do this, like the straight way? So you can make it exactly the way you want without having to import from other programs.

thank you mrniceguy. i was trying to broaden my frame-by-frame animation skills so the tweens are all frame-by-frame but the little organic movies (leaves, organisms, etc.) are actionscripted.
