MX_OnD, exactly the same thing happens to me, except I don't even have to buy it, it is just THERE all the time, lovely and crumbly with lots of white dust on it and smelling sooo sweet!!!

coke on the other hand I hate with a vengance, I've lost a couple of good friends due to them getting their noses stuck up their own arses while attempting ever more acrobatic sniffing...so many coke heads get so egocentric that being friends with them on a real level is impossible....sorry to any noses I may offend with that.....

I had to give that shit up.. smoked since I was 15 until I was 23/4, I'd say almost everyday for about 4 - then I just started getting all para - the fear had set in. Weed just didn't chill me out anymore rather it stressed me out - so many negative thoughts after just one doob. I had to stop that shit, it was kind of sad really cos I used to love it so much. After stopping I became so much sharper, fuck, I could actually remember things!!
The other day a friend gave me a coupla really nice crystalline buds - I've only smoked one joint its like I'm fuckin scared of the stuff - guess I'll try again this evening haha. Not getting the habit again though, just for old times :)

i think the key to coming off the gange is a complete change of scenario. when i was a student me and my flatmate smoked every day because that was what we did. then i moved to london and my flatmates weren't potheads and i just didn't feel i 'needed' it anymore. nowadays a single skinner is more than enough every now and again and i dont even finish it.

One of the best friends I ever had had to be told that he was dead for me after a catalogue of shite resulting from his nasal activities....I value those friends I now have too much to put them through that shite with me.

MX_OnD, that sux about your friend. I'm from a small town in Australia, and they have big drug problems there cos everyone is so bored and a hit of smack is $10 (that's about £3). So many good friends that I grew up with have gone seriously wrong on that. Coke turns people into arseholes but smack kills them or sends them to jail. I still believe that weed is the least harmful of a bad bunch. Less harmful than alcohol, that's for sure.

shit vespa sorry to hear about your friends. I lived in Zürich's millieu for a year was surrounded by europe's largest open air smack market....seeing the destruction it causes put me off for life, not only the way that all self respect and dignity goes out the window but the way it makes you look (not that I'm vain but who wants to have skin like a waxwork??), now I just have a toke and a drink now and then... but the most enjoyable times I have are when I'm sober
and can remember what made it so good......
