i just want to let you know that my coffee smells like battery acid today.
anyone knows a good idea how to clean a coffeemachine the best way?

All I can suggest is what not to do: Don't use bleach. They do that here, and the coffee tastes like they do.

Deconstruct and boil the non electronic bits for 5 minutes.

vinegar my friend, vinegar.
boil vinegar in it once then water 2 or 3 times and it'll be better than new, also good for the swiss limescale ;)

destroys limescale, burnt-on food AND it is good on your chips (which mr muscle isn't...)
