will .eps print?

my .eps prints all jagged on my non postcsript printer.
would it look like its supposed to (smooth good quality) if i took it to a proper printing bureau??

yes. or you need stylescript or whatever its called to fake postscript on inkjets.

really? it almost sounds like the eps isn't finding all the images/fonts so it puts a low res one in it's place instead....but that is just what would always happen to me when i did print...which was needless to say, a WHILE ago.

I had that problem when I was printing to a printer that couldnt' handle postscript... It needed a postscript RIP

I want to fake postscript on inkjets. i thought by now inkjets would be able to fake postscript.

there used to be a software called Stylescript that would allow you to print ps on your inkjet. Don't know if its still around..I'd assume so. Do a google search.

to get a better idea of the final look (without the jaggies) drop your EPS into Photoshop, save it as a tiff, then print to your inkjet.
