Does anybody know anything about them? Who does their flash for instance?

I have had some heated discussions with a couple of them on (i'm not sure how many of them there are) on ultrashock forums. We'll just leave it at that.

hey, thanks a lot. I got to update that thing. I haven't even touched it in a year! Don't you hate having to go and update yor portfolio? it's like rewriting a dictionary :)

Things that they have designed, where they came from and etc. There are not many links on their site that seem to work. So, i was just wondering what the word on the street is.

haha thanks mrniceguy. yeah, you think they would give me a free haircut card like happy gilmore 'subway for life card' but no such luck. eh, i don't even have a supercuts in my state so i guess it doesn't matter.

FI have been featured in a lot of magazines lately. They are the biggest flash design firm in the world and have made the coolest sites but for broadband users.

the problem with all those sites is that they ALWAYS tell me i need to download the latest flash 6 plugin. I already have. I don't understand why every other site that uses flash 6 works for me, and FI sites never do. it seriously happens everytime i visit one.

wierd lvl_thirteen, never happens to me luckily enough. Could be that their sites look for the latest player all the time?

It makes me laugh that someone at the age of 21 4 years ago would want to change the way the internet interacts. This would be great if the internet was 50 or 60 years old. But damn, isn't that a bit much?

FI is more than just one individual. Like any good company its made up of a handful of really talented people. 3D people, Actionscripters, Designers & support staff.
The primary person you will hear about is my friend David Martin who is the Creative Director over there. David is a down to earth, hard working, classy designer who has a great eye for balance & symmetry. FI is a top notch organization and I have had nothing short of superb experiences with everyone there I have ever talked to outside of David.
Some of their links to client sites aren't working because of recent problems on the client side. David has remarked that some of their clients are experiencing financial problems on their side and possibly bankruptcy on the part of one of the clients they did work for. Hence..their site is down. This does not refect upon FI who merely did the work.

Personally, I think they are great. I just wanted to hear some more about them. I haven't looked in any magazines in a long time. I would like to read up on them. Stuff like this inspires me, but nothing inspires me more than my favorite - ILM.
Now that's some fantasy interfaces.
Does anyone have some links to magazine articals about them? Web interviews?
