I haven't found a better modeler (for architecture) than Form-Z.
You can create fantastic images with it, and even use radiosity, but the renderer is sooo slow compared to Max.

Robotron3k, what the hell are you smoking? Maya for industrial design? Maya is feature films/broadcast/print/games... no industrial design. It lacks enormous amounts of tools targeted at precise industrial designing, besides, it's a bitch to run with rapid prototyping machines. Programs more comonly used are RHino (non solid modeller) and Solidworks (solid)... Personally, I use Rhino.
Max and Maya has their ups and downs, but seriously, they're more or less the same program nowadays. The time of highend SGI workstations and expensive software is past....

this is a very easy program that is good for someone who works with AfterEffects and Flash and wants high-end 3D...?
I like it anyway...
