Just an hour ago I heard the wife of a good friend committed suicide. She managed to that that while being in or outside the hospital were she was for psychiatric care.
They have a very young son and daughter.
I am shocked, sad and angry at the same time. Angry because I knew the shrink appeared not to take matters very seriously, it was obvious she had to be taken to a highly secured psychiatric institution, and not in a hospital were she could act freely as she (prolly) was not really aware of her actions and the implications it might have.
I am shocked cause I had not expected this. Sad, for my good friend and his very young kids...who will be traumatised for life I am afraid... :(:(
One thing struck me today....the importance of life...not just for yourself but also(if not more) for your loved ones...
Aaron (5dp) handed me this sentence just a few moments ago:
"you really have to value what you have when you have it, because when its gone.."
I am thankfull and keep that in mind the coming period....better....for the rest of my life....even more so now.
I just wanted to share this with you...cuz I know a lot of you (via MSN and personal), and I am not able to repeat the story over and over again.
I can't visit him now...he lives quite far away, and he is spending time with the family now (all/most relatives gathered)...I offered to be there when nescessary...especially for the kids, since he has a huge responsibility towards the small consultancy agency he has, and he has no choice but to pick up work really soon. Which makes it all harder.

Now I am shocked.
But fortunatly (one of my very best friends) Crabmeister keeps me occupied with conversations and beautiful sketches he sent me today. I tell ya, he is talented. That lightens up my day. Thanks, crabbie!

Devestating mate, not much I can say except my father did the same some years back and it leaves you with nothing but questions that will never be answered. My sympathies to you and your friend.
And yes for fucks sake enjoy and try to love your short time here.

that yann tiersen song is so sad. not sure if that is a good idea to listen to when you are down. but damn if those lyrics arent some of the best ive come across.

I just heard how it all happened...it appears she managed to convince the hospitals administration (she was an extremely intelligent person(high IQ)...and has the ability to manipulate people...) to leave and went home and hung herself after cutting open her wrists......my friend discovered her when he came home like that......an image he will never loose for the rest of his life.
Thank god the children were still at school!!
Sorry...i don't want to shock you..
I just need to ventilate....I cannot visit him now...he needs to be with relatives etc.
I am really shaking now....and I will look for some distraction...
