So I'm finally switching my computer at work from OS 9 to X. I was hoping you guys would have some tips on moving my emails and bookmarks over to the new system. I use Outlook Express now in 9 and will most likely start using Apple's Mail App. Is there an easy way to move all my emails over? what about addresses and contact info? Any help is much appreciated!

you can just drag your bookmarks file into Users>you>Library>Preferences>Ex...
and use an alias to that file in your OS9 Preferences folder, so you use the same favorites file whether in Classic or OSX...
Mail can import all you mail, filters, addresses etc from Outlook Express...
you can also use .Mac to synchronize your Address Book across multiple macs...

cool, I hope it is as easy as it sounds.
Would you guys reccomend me wiping my drive clean before installing OSX?

I did... However, it was time for me to clean break and clean my computer anyway.

i have a question! has anyone had any problems with your fonts once you switched to OSX? taht is my biggest fear!! esp in quark...

No quark in X yet
Move to indesign
X for a will now

of course there's not - wtf!!! quark can eat the fattest part of my OSX... heh anyway i would gladly switch if printers were up to speed with it.. but i think most printers feel they don't have as much contol with indesign... or somethin...
