I've had my domain through dotster for four years, no problems, 15$ is in the cheap end of the spectrum too.

i've used both Dotster and GoDaddy. They both are good and both have great account management tools. very easy to admin domain names. but GoDaddy is about $9/single domain for 1 year (cheaper in bulk and multiple years)... and Dotster is about $15/single domain for 1 year... so i go with GoDaddy mainly
