can you guys and girls direct me to a good board where people post work they need done. I have heard of these sites, but never have seen them. I suppose they operate on a bidding system, where you bid the project and the client chooses which freelancer they want to use.
help, I need work.---MJE

feel free to under bid

why underbid? does it give me advantage?

it's a cut throat industry, if you want the job, you'll have to do whatever it takes to get it!
Clients don't care how beautiful your portfolio is, just as long as you can save them money and time!!

sign up to creative moonighter. its fun. i get an occasional email where a client wants to spend $200 on an identity system, or website and the like. i always reply with the most rediculous responses. consequently, they never contact me
:(

bonseff, how do you get them to pay? do they provide contracts?? I find that so risky. Hate getting ripped off by cheap ass companies.

one way i found to find employment opps is going into yahoo. type in your city of choice name and go to the local meto area. then in the search box type in "employment."
it brings up all the employment pages of the local binises in the area. i did it here in dallas when i had the time, beleive me it takes time to sift through it all but you can come up with some quality leads that way because a lot of jobs are not advertised. especially design jobs.

oops to answer your question, you have to go through creative moonlighter to get paid, and naturally they take a cut. but if you pay them a few $$ they will make sure your profile gets seen first. or so they say.
