Ok, so most of my Adobe® pgms are ?borrowed? . With in the last week or so all of them started loosing functions one by one. The problems keep poping up and today I?ve lost the use of my toolbar in Photoshop®, along with more problems. My question is, Did they get me??? Or am I just in the Twilight Zone?? Ps- I?m on a Mac®.

? Never heard of this. What os are you running?
- carianoff0
Well PS6.0 on os9 but I run osX.2.3 as the base. I still use PS6 Because it wasnt until PS6.2 that it was able to "phone home"
An yes Ed.Discounts Rock! I'm all over that, as soon as I find myself tripping over $400 on my living room floor.

any differences between the educational and normal versions of adobe products?
- lifeinsodium0
educational and regular versions are exactly the same. they just differ in price - and by a huge margin.
- joec0
nope. not that i have been able to tell. actually, only photoshop has "educational version : for academic use only" in white on the left hand side of the splash screen - but other than that, no difference.
i purchased the adobe digital video collection (photoshop, illustrator, after effects and premier) and the only one that has a big difference is after effects - theres a few things you lose (such as the wiggler) - but its well worth it to get all those programs for just under $500.

How do you go about getting such a discount, joec?

You need a college id, and that's it.
- joec0
yes, thats about it.
i ordered through http:www.sprysoft.com and they asked for a scan of my id and my current schedule. then they keep you on file until you are done with your schooling.
alot of software manufacturers give great discounts to starving college students!!
