yes, though as long as you've worked steadily together for a long time with no qualms.

very hard.. 60% marketing and 40% working...
lot of leg work.. unless you have existing clients...
but if you have steady cash flow, you can work it good

If you're willing to work your ass off, yes it is. I wouldn't if I had my own family though, and your social life is cut in half (at least). I'm in the process of starting up myself, btw.
It's a risk. But if you succeed, you'll see it's worth it.
