is this for locals only?
- turd0
no idea. however, she seems "desperate" so nyc'ers should get on the ball.

that is low, but it's only making sale signs and joe jobs like that. THey probably have templates and shit. Think of the discounted designer threads!
- turd0
that dont seem bad to me.. whole families can live on less.

My "hmmm" meant: That's quite a lot!
Not what we get here...but places like London and NYC are a bit more expensive to live...
- dopepope0
I agree with vena on this...
beware.

I'll start today for $75,000/month.

I hear rent in manhatten is around $1500 for a small room. everything is so expensive too, so you can't really go far with $45k.

whole families can live off less, and they do, but a family living comfortably on less than $45k combined salary in NYC? ouch!
- vena0
manhattan isn't the only place to live when you're working there, you know
- modulate0
who would want to live in Manhattan anyway? Brooklyn is oozing so much more flavor. Even Queens is better than Manhattan.
Manhattan exists for: shopping, high rises, day jobs, some entertainment.

only a few friends of mine pay more than $700 on rent/mo. what kind of penthouse pads are you all in? and while i'm at it, complaincomplaincomplain abt the suckass job market but when something comes along y'all punk.
