there is really no such thing as CSS.
it is a mythical code that was first named in the early 1600s.
it stands for cock sizing standards. and it is in no way related to design or anything in real life.
i once had myself measured using this system and my tables are all fine. just a few "padding problems". heheh.
please ignore this post. i am out of my mind with eyeballs. too much work has fried me once again.

Take a look at the last lines of code in the bottom of the K10K page... they do the layout with CSS too

I think I've just skipped a massive amount of web-design learning here.
I can charge quite alot of money for making simple sites but I still don't know that much.
Hmmmm.
Anyway, a new problem has arisen but to explain the problem can someone tell me the correct terminology, in Dreamweaver, for the tables(?) with green outlines and the tables(?) that go inside them with blue outlines.

You have sellected the 'Layout View" under the 'Layout' tab.
When you draw the green table you see the entire table. The blue 'tables' are the cells, were you can put your text or images in...
Hope that helps

notepad forever, dreamweaver never.

Argh! I know what view I was in!!!!!! I'm not that bad, honest!!!
I just didn't know the terminology.
Tables & cells! Great. Now I don't have to refer to them as the big green squares with the little blue squares anymore.
I have designed a few websites in the past and been using Dreamweaver a while.
Each brief I have taken has been a learning experience...I've also done what is needed for the job and so have learnt things as and when required hence just not knowing some basic stuff. And now I really want to learn!

actually, homesite more so than notepad... but the web bunnies all think youre cooler if you tell em youre down with the pad.
- neeko0
and by 'pad', i meant 'notepad'... just in case there was any confusion.

I did my first ever site in notepad.
I was well chuffed when it worked!
But I think I have a long way to go before I'm ready to code proper sites using it.
