Flash Player... ?
I want to use a .swf to make me a freestanding projector for mac users. I go to 'Create Projector' in Flash Player but when I open the created file, it opens back in Flash Player. Should the file have a certain name? ie file.pro or something? Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.

is the file size not considerably bigger after you've done "create projector"??

doesn't matter, it's to go on a cd but I don't want folk trying to double click a .swf file and opening Flash, quicktime or Flash Player like it does with me sometimes.

yeah but your projector that Flash creates is just the content within it's own little player......

oh.
yeah, I noticed it creates a different icon for the projector file - a larger 'f' in a circle, and that's exactly what my client says he can't read. I am about to start crying now... It works fine on mine.

aww don't cry - a projector should work everywhere....
try these:
northcode.com
multidmedia.com
screenweaver.com
flashjester.comnot sure if there are Mac versions available but they let you "get your flash out of it's box" and if you manage that, you'll probably feel like getting out of your box too ;)

you very welcome! makes a change from ranting about the war....
a projector opening in simple text???
your client does have it on his machine right?
if you've ftp'ed it make sure it's binary...
alternatively give this to your client for a laugh:
