Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a good utility for OSX that lets you change the application that a particular file, or set of files, is associated with. I know that there used to be a utility app for this under Classic but I can't remember what it's called. Any help would be most appreciated. Many thanks.
-- Yes, I've already tried Google, have searched the PV-AN and have scoured the Apple OSX download site --

Function built inside OS X:
Select file, hit Command+I for infobox, from there select 'open with' and select the program you want this type of file to be associated/opened with.
Then click the button 'change all' to apply the change to all similiar files on machine.

Using the built-in 'Get Info', then 'Open with', you can set the app to use for one file, or set as default for all files of that type.
You can also get FileXaminer or SuperGetInfo for even more features...

Hej JanJ,
Thanks very much. You have proven that I am an even bigger loser than I already thought :) here I am looking for some freeware that will do this and the bloody function is built inside OSX!
