Freehand crashes on the PC...

I love Freehand, and never cared much for Illustrator.... but I have a huge problem occuring...
I'm using Freehand 10 on a pc, and i get many screen draw errors, which always require me to force quit the application...
This is becoming incredibly annoying, and while I love Freehand I'm considering switching to a app i hate - Illustrator....
Anyone happen to have these sort of Freehand problems.... Can they be fixed ?

im assuming you're using 10.. i had the same errors in 10 on a PC, you could always go back to 9... no problems here on my mac though.
PC version also occasionally runs of of memory and crashes (though we all know its not really running out of memory).. save often i guess.

you're using a pc... im using one too... hangs all the time.

frequent "save as".....
also make sure it is Freehand 10.0.1...(distinguishable by new logo....)

Do you get that issue whereby if you open too many applications with it (like about TWO!) then the thing won't appear...just hides itself!!!
It especially doesn't seem to like working with Flash open....great!
Anyway, there's a document about it on the MM site and it says it's to do with how the OS works and there's nothing they can do about it or something... But how come everyone else makes their software work?
