Can anyone recommend any cheap auto insurance in the los angeles area. Progressive is still mad expensive, I am 24 with a clean driving record and they want 1000 for a 6 month policy.

I use geiko - get an online quote... they were half the price of progressive for me in cali.

I used the General (the Permanent General, I think). They have an office in SM. I was paying $1k/year for full coverage (I believe it went down every year to around ($900 at the end). I paid in full, though, and saved myself something like 20%/yr.

What are the rest of you paying a month? MBR how old are you if you dont mind me asking? How did you get such a cheap rate?
