today... I lost all the graphics and photos I ever did....
my whole creative output is gone due some unexpected computer breakdown.
I only designed stuff for my self for the last 3 years...because i am not a designer and i consider it a hobby...
now all thats left is this .jpg that i had saved on my webspace
i thought that stuff defined me somehow.
i feel totally empty
this is a sad day to remember

Bummer man, sorry to hear it, I've been in similar situations, what kind of computer? Have you tried all the Nortons software yet?
As a last resort you could try drive savers. It's expensive, but there's almost nothing they can't recover.

Same thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago. I have a lot of the older jpgs/gifs on a server online but lost everything new and all of the original files that I had.
I'm just trying to start over and get a bunch of stuff on my HD again. Oh and I'm buying a backup HD now.
Best of luck to you, I suggest however that you don't give up just keep going.
