id like to take a few (2 or 3) screenshots from a dvd. I dont know how to do this, ive never tried before. Does anyone know how to do this?

i'm not a big techie, but i'd try playing the dvd on your computer then doing a screen capture. There's probably a better way though. what do i know?

They actualy make software ( http://www.download.com) for doing this but a screen capture would be better.

screen capture tools dont work, all i get is a black screen. I thought taking screenshots from dvd's requires cracking the dvd security code or whatever its called?

Hey, if your on PC you can do it using PowerDVD made by:

But if your on the Mac, those other suggestion won't work. You'll get a blank image once the DVD is removed from drive.

download VLC from http://www.videolan.org/
It is free, and will allow you to use the key-combo screen grabs.
At least, that is what i did.
